Some Facts about Me...

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Angus and I would like to welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year!  As we begin our year together, I would like say that I am thrilled to meet all of you and I believe that we will have a great and successful school year.  In the following paragraphs, I am going to share with you a little about myself.

My first name is Heather and I am married to Timothy Angus.  We have four wonderful children; three boys and one girl.  My eldest son Joseph is 16 and six foot tall.  Matthew, who is 13, is a cartoon artist who writes his own books. Andrew 9 is our star football player who is exciting to watch on the field. Last but not lease, my daughter Hannah 5 will be starting kindergarten this school year.

I am the daughter of a retired Jefferson County (Louisville) Police Officer who taught me the value of honesty and loyalty.  He also taught me that everything you do has a consequence good or bad and we have the option of making our consequences positive.

I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Science and majoring in Elementary Education.  Prior to pursuing my teaching degree, I was a Teacher’s Aid for two years at both Hardin County Schools & Elizabethtown Independent Schools.   I was also honored as  the  Western Kentucky University President's  Scholar for my 4.o score during my last semester.

Also, I am veteran ofthe United States ARMY.  My military experience has taught me that leaders with high expectations have followers that rise to those expectations and often achieve beyond the required exspectations. I can assure you, it is my personal goal that all students succeed and are challenged in their learning.
